No. 2 Coco Gauff reached her second career French Open final with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 win against unranked Lois Boisson in the French Open women's semifinals at Roland-Garros on Thursday.

Gauff is seeking her first career French Open title and last made the final in 2022, when she lost to Iga Swiatek.

The 21-year-old set the tone from the jump, rattling off the first four games in the first set before winning 6-1.

Boisson showed some fight in the second set when she broke Gauff's serve to cut the deficit to 3-2. However, Gauff broke her right back and cruised to a 6-2 win to close out the match.

Boisson, a native of France, was playing in her first career major. She advanced to the semifinals in dramatic fashion with an upset win over No. 6 Mirra Andreeva on Wednesday, becoming the first woman to reach the semifinals at their first major tournament since Jennifer Capriati 35 years ago. Her magical run came just a year after she was forced to miss the 2024 French Open when she tore her left ACL a week before the tournament.

Gauff will face Aryna Sabalenka in the French Open final on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET. Sabalenka defeated Swiatek 7-6 (1), 4-6, 6-0 in Thursday's other semifinal, ending Swiatek's hopes of becoming the first woman to win four straight titles at Roland-Garros in the Open Era.

Sabalenka is seeking her first French Open title and her fourth career major title. Gauff is going for her second career major victory following her 2023 U.S. Open win.
