Boogie Fland Transfers to Florida After 1 Season with John Calipari, Arkansas
Fresh off winning a national title last month, Florida is loading up in an attempt to repeat next season by adding Boogie Fland in the transfer portal.
Fland told ESPN's Shams Charania he is joining the Gators after playing his freshman year at Arkansas under head coach John Calipari.
Golden and his staff have a lot of talent to replace from their 2024-25 title team. Walter Clayton Jr., Will Richard, Alijah Martin and Denzel Aberdeen are all leaving.

Clayton, Martin and Richard were Florida's top three scorers last season. They combined to average 46.0 of the team's 84.8 points per game.
Despite winning the national title, the Gators don't seem to have gotten a big boost to their incoming freshman class. They currently rank 30th in 247Sports' team composite rankings with just two commitments.
The transfer portal wasn't exactly booming for Florida before Fland's addition. 247Sports had the reigning champs ranked 12th out of the 16 SEC teams in that category.
Fland figures to provide a big boost to that ranking. The 6'2" combo guard is ranked as the No. 8 overall prospect in the transfer portal. He originally declared for the 2025 NBA draft on April 4 while also maintaining his college eligibility.
After going through some of the process, Fland withdrew from the NBA draft and entered the transfer portal on May 13. He took an official visit to Florida on Monday and decided it was the right spot for him.
Fland, a 4-star recruit in the 2024 freshman class, averaged 13.5 points and 5.1 assists per game in 21 appearances at Arkansas last season.
