CeeDee Lamb Says He, George Pickens are 'Both 1's' for Cowboys at WR in New Video
CeeDee Lamb believes both he and George Pickens will be WR1 options for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2025 season.
"We're both No. 1's," Lamb told DLLS Cowboys. "It ain't no [1A, 1B situation], none of that. It's No. 1. You look over there, you see No. 1. You look over here, you see another No. 1. So do what you gotta do with that."

Inside Top NFL Prospect Getting Drafted
It was a diplomatic gesture from Lamb, especially with Pickens standing beside him, though it's not as though anybody actually believes it will play out in that way.
Lamb, 26, is a four-time Pro Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro selection who has garnered an average of 151 targets per season in his career. He's made good on them, averaging 104 catches, 1,330 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in his career. Plus, he has an established rapport with Dak Prescott.
He's a superstar who is already entrenched as the team's primary target. There's little reason to expect that will change.
Pickens, meanwhile, is entering his fourth season and has never been a Pro Bowler or All-Pro selection. His career high in targets was 106 in 2023, which was his best season in general (62 catches, 1,140 receiving yards, five touchdowns, also all career highs).
Pickens is more of a field-stretching deep threat than a target magnet like Lamb, so the fit between the two is actually quite complementary. But the idea that they will each be No. 1 options in the passing game doesn't feel realistic. Lamb is going to remain the main man, while Pickens will give Prescott another dangerous weapon in the downfield passing game and will make it harder for teams to double Lamb.
The fit is there. But if Pickens expects to get equal targets, he might become disillusioned with his situation pretty quickly.
