Shedeur Sanders Unsure How He'll Get NFL Draft Day Call After Phone Number Leaked
Shedeur Sanders might have to find out where he is picked in Thursday's NFL draft by watching on television.
The Colorado quarterback revealed on his podcast (10:34 mark) that his phone number was leaked. After taking the necessary steps, he also said he is unsure what that will mean for Thursday.
"My number got leaked again, guys," Sanders said. "So now I don't know how I'm going to get my call for the draft. … I don't know how I'll be able to get the draft-day call."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The main question regarding Sanders is when that call will come.
While B/R's NFL Scouting Department projected him to go No. 6 overall in its latest mock draft and ranked him as the second-best quarterback in its big board of prospects, there has been some speculation that he will end up dropping come draft day.
Perhaps that will mean a team selecting Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart as the second quarterback behind Cam Ward. Or perhaps that will mean teams passing on the signal-caller position entirely as the first round progresses with the hope of landing a secondary option in the mid to later rounds.
There are questions about Sanders' overall arm strength and anticipation on throws, and the quarterback class as a whole isn't seen as a particularly strong one after Ward.
Yet the end result could still be Sanders going in the top 10 after all, especially if a team is impressed with his toughness and resilience he demonstrated while taking home the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year award in 2024.
Such a team will also have to figure out a way to let Sanders know it drafted him if he does not figure out his phone situation by Thursday.
