The Rock Says Travis Scott is Training with Booker T After WWE WrestleMania 41

The Rock gave some insight into rapper Travis Scott potential development into a WWE Superstar on Tuesday.

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show (h/t Ringside News), The Rock revealed that Scott is going to start doing pro wrestling training with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T in the near future.

Scott made his first sizable impact in WWE last month at Elimination Chamber when he accompanied The Rock to the ring for his segment with Cody Rhodes.

When Rhodes refused to sell his soul to The Rock, John Cena turned heel by attacking Rhodes, and both The Rock and Scott joined in as well.

Cena challenged Rhodes for the WWE Championship in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 41 on Sunday, and Scott showed up during the latter stages to provide a distraction, which helped Cena win and become a record-breaking, 17-time world champion.

While many fans seemingly expected The Rock to show up, he explained to McAfee that he thought it was best to remove himself from the storyline after Elimination Chamber and place the spotlight on Cena and Rhodes.

The Final Boss added that while he could have factored into the finish at WrestleMania, he has other projects coming up and didn't want to get involved if there was no way to pay it off.

Instead, Scott interfered, and there could be a potential payoff on the horizon if his wrestling training goes well.

Scott gave Rhodes a black eye at Elimination Chamber by punching him too hard in he face, and while Rhodes got some revenge at WrestleMania by hitting him with Cross Rhodes, Cena and Scott got the last laugh.

The Rock said during the post-show press conference at Elimination Chamber that Scott had already begun doing some pro wrestling training, and working with a legend such as Booker T could help expedite the process even more.

While The Rock noted he was surprised to see Scott play a role in the finish at WrestleMania 41, he praised the popular rapper due to his love for WWE and pro wrestling.

Doing more training could allow Scott to get even more physical and to continue having a presence in Cena's matches, although The Rock did not provide any information regarding WWE's immediate plans for Scott.
