NFL OC Says 'This is Such a Bad QB Class. I Think They’re All Developmental Guys'
There's a feeling around the league that the quarterback class in the 2025 NFL draft doesn't feature any players who can make an instant impact.
"Last year was a really good draft, but all those good quarterbacks went early," an NFL offensive coordinator told Bruce Feldman of The Athletic. "So Brock Bowers (a rookie tight end who made the Pro Bowl) got pushed back (to No. 13) as did other really good players who normally would’ve gone earlier. But this is such a bad quarterback class. I think they’re all developmental guys.”
Still, Miami passer Cam Ward has done well enough throughout the pre-draft process that the Tennessee Titans reportedly "won't pass" on selecting him with the No. 1 overall pick.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The exact draft range of the remaining quarterbacks in the 2025 class isn't as clear, though.
In the 2024 draft, six quarterbacks were selected within the first 12 picks. In the latest 2025 mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, only three quarterbacks were projected to be off the board once the first round came to an end.
Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart and Will Howard were ranked just behind Ward on the most recent big board from B/R's NFL Scouting Department.
None of them were listed higher than the No. 23 overall player in the 2025 draft class, though.
While there can still be several key contributors to emerge from the draft, the number of Week 1 starters under center for the 2025 season doesn't seem to be as high compared to past years.
