Jey Uso is set to compete in the biggest match of his career Saturday on Night 1 of WrestleMania 41, but that isn't stopping him from thinking about his pro wrestling mortality.

During an appearance on the Ringer Wrestling Show (h/t WrestlePurists), Uso suggested that he may not be a full-time wrestler for much longer, saying:

"I'm on the end of my career. I feel like I still have a couple years left. I still feel strong, but this is the first time I kind of felt the years are catching up on me. I think I'm getting older. I'll be 40 in August. I love wrestling. Wrestling is everything. I'm just getting to the point where I want to venture out a little bit more."

Along with his twin brother, Jimmy Uso, Jey signed with WWE in 2010 and made his main roster debut later that year.

Together, The Usos went on to become one of the greatest tag teams of all time, holding WWE tag team titles together on eight occasions.

However, over the past few years, Jey has ventured out on his own more often, and he has now established himself as one of the most popular singles wrestlers in WWE.

Jey shocked the wrestling world by winning the 2025 men's Royal Rumble match, earning him a world title match at WrestleMania, which he opted to use on a clash with world heavyweight champion Gunther.

Speaking to ESPN (h/t WrestleTalk), Jey acknowledged that while he never expected to be in the position he is in currently, he intends to take full advantage of it:

"I never thought I'd be a top singles star. Being the best tag team with my brother was the number one goal, but now I'm going from the pre-show to the main event. It's been an adjustment without my brother by my side, and I'm just now feeling OK on my own as a singles wrestler.

"I hear the naysayers. They are saying I don't deserve this opportunity and I can't win, but it took 15 years to get here and now I have one shot after my number got called and I'm going to answer the damn call ... and then we're going to go party with the whole family, Vegas style."

Jey winning a world title would be a case of him defying all expectations, and it would put a bow on what was already a legendary career as a tag team wrestler.

It is difficult to envision a WWE future without The Usos in the fold given that they have been key players for the past 15 years, but Jey is now just one win away from essentially accomplishing everything possible as a WWE Superstar.

Stratton Talks Issues with Charlotte Ahead of WrestleMania

On the heels of the rivalry between WWE women's champion Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair heating up in recent weeks, Stratton had some pointed words for her WrestleMania 41 opponent this week.

During an appearance Thursday on the Gorilla Position (h/t WrestleTalk), Stratton suggested that Charlotte attempted to show her up and steal the spotlight during the build toward their match, saying: "Congratulations to Charlotte. A 15-year veteran buried a rookie in an interview. I hope she got all of the TV time that she so desperately needs because clearly she needs it more than I do."

A few weeks ago on SmackDown, there was a sit-down interview segment with Tiffany and Charlotte in different locations, and Flair used it as an opportunity to press the issue with Stratton, which led to speculation that The Queen may have gone off script.

One week later, Stratton and Flair had an in-ring confrontation, and things got personal with Tiffany referencing Charlotte's three divorces and Charlotte claiming that Tiffany's boyfriend, Ludwig Kaiser, was "in her DM's."

WrestleVotes later reported that "very little of what was in the rundown" was actually said by Stratton and Flair in the promo, adding that they went "off script quite a bit."

On last week's SmackDown, Flair attacked Stratton in the parking lot, and she then returned later in the night to attack Tiffany again, adding even more heat to their rivalry.

Regardless of what is real and what is part of a storyline, Stratton and Flair have successfully drummed up additional interest in their WrestleMania match, meaning their feud has been a success thus far.

Big E Confirms He Is Still Not Cleared to Wrestle

Former WWE champion Big E shut down speculation Thursday regarding him potentially being a surprise opponent for Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41 this week.

Tyler Breeze brought up the possibility during a Fanatics live stream (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News), prompting Big E to say, "Look, I'm not cleared."

Big E has not wrestled since March 2022 when he suffered a broken neck during a tag team match on SmackDown. When Ridge Holland hit Big E with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex outside the ring, Big E never got fully rotated and landed on his head.

Although Big E avoided surgery and has largely been able to live a normal life since then, he remains sidelined and has not been permitted to return to the ring.

Due to Kevin Owens dealing with a neck injury of his own, Orton is currently without an opponent for WrestleMania 41.

He brawled with Solo Sikoa last week on SmackDown, perhaps setting the stage for a WrestleMania match between them, but it hasn't been announced as of yet.

Bodyslam.net's Cory Hays reported Thursday that Orton is currently slated to lay down an open challenge at WrestleMania.

WrestleVotes (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News) offered a somewhat adjacent report regarding the signing of Rusev, noting that he is expected to make his return to WWE programming in the near future, possibly as soon as WrestleMania.

While Rusev answering an open challenge from Orton could be a distinct possibility, there is no indication that there is any chance of Big E being able to return to the ring.
