OVERALL

Jacolby George, a small-framed wide receiver with quality route-running skills, wins with his feel and awareness of space. His instincts help him sense cornerback momentum during route stems, and he snaps off routes crisply to separate. He cuts off routes well based on post-snap coverage and has a good feel for zone defenses and finding voids in short-end intermediate areas.

After catching the ball, George is a functional playmaker, shifting gears and accelerating past defenders. His punt return experience allows him to navigate traffic.

However, his small frame limits his ability to play heavy snaps on the perimeter. He needs to transition to the slot to improve his chances of quality offensive snaps. George’s explosiveness is average, and he doesn’t consistently blow by corners, leading to jamming at the line and disrupting timing.

George is a potential depth receiver who's best suited in the slot. He should secure a spot on a final 53-man roster after preseason cuts due to his punt return experience. Playing from the slot will limit his struggles against long-limbed physical press-aligned cornerbacks.
