Early WWE WrestleMania 41 Predictions for Announced Matches on the Card

Erik BeastonApr 14, 2025

WWE returns to Las Vegas for the first time since 1993 for its annual showcase of professional wrestling's best and brightest with WrestleMania 41.

The card for the two-night spectacular has filled out significantly over the last two weeks, with championship clashes and red-hot grudge matches enhancing an extravaganza headlined by John Cena challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

It is never too early to predict what will happen come show time. In preparation of the April 19 and 20 event, take a look at the Superstars who will have their arms raised in victory in Sin City.

WrestleMania Saturday Undercard

1 of 4
SmackDown

World Tag Team Championship Match: The War Raiders vs. The New Day

The War Raiders have not had a chance to do much of note since winning the World Tag Team Championship outside of a fun match with The Creed Brothers. The New Day has not had a chance to really capitalize on the momentum they had following their betrayal of Big E and subsequent heel turn. A showcase for the issues facing the Raw tag team division post WrestleMania, this should be a fairly good match that The New Day wins. (Prediction: New Day wins the titles)

United States Championship Match: LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu

Knight regained the United States Championship from Shinsuke Nakamura only to turn around and face the challenge of the seemingly unstoppable "Samoan Werewolf" Fatu. As popular as Knight is, and as relatively early in his reign as it is, this should be Fatu's coronation and next step toward main event superstardom. (Prediction: Fatu wins the title)

Jade Cargill vs. Naomi

Naomi's sneak attack on Cargill put her out of action and cost her the women's tag team championship. The return of Cargill and Naomi's unabashed admission of guilt intensified the feud, resulting in the first non-title one-on-one match between two women since 2006. The narrative would suggest Cargill earns a measure of revenge with a win but Naomi has been great since turning heel and a win here would be a significant reward for her work. (Prediction: Naomi)

Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano

Chad Gable's disrespect of Lucha libre via the El Grande Americano persona earned the rage of Mysterio, who will look to put an end to the 2012 Olympian's shenanigans. While Americano scoring the win would make for a much-deserved moment for the great Gable, this feels like a chance for Mysterio to win the match and put an end to the long-running rivalry between the LWO and American Made. (Prediction: Mysterio)

WWE Women's Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair

Enhanced significantly due to real life drama and off-script promos, the match between Stratton and Flair has the potential to be one of the show-stealers of WrestleMania Saturday if the champion can hang with the challenger. Stratton would benefit from a win of this magnitude but Flair rarely loses matches like this, especially as part of her comeback. (Prediction: Flair wins the title)

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Jey Uso vs. Gunther

Is Jey Uso more than just a catchphrase and entrance? That is the question he and Gunther will look to answer when the 2025 Royal Rumble winner challenges The Ring General for the World Heavyweight Championship in Las Vegas.

The rivalry has intensified with Gunther's bloody beatdown of Jimmy Uso and Jey's oddly calm promise to "get" his WrestleMania opponent and take his title. Oh yeah, Uso is going to YEET Gunther around the ring and take his title. (Prediction: Uso wins the title)

WrestleMania Saturday Main Event: CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

2 of 4
SmackDown

Punk and Rollins have been at each other's throats since the Straight Edge Superstar returned to the company at the 2023 Survivor Series. Punk and Reigns' issues began one year later at the same show when Punk agreed to team with the OG Bloodline in War Games in return for a favor.

That favor?

The Tribal Chief's Wise Man, Paul Heyman, will accompany Punk to the squared circle for the April 19 main event. Add to that the long-running rivalry between Rollins and Reigns, which dates back to the former's betrayal of his Shield teammates in 2014, and you have an explosive match-up.

Punk is competing in his first WrestleMania main event and has not experienced victory on the grand stage since defeated Chris Jericho in 2012. Still, this does not feel like his match to win, nor is it Reigns'.

Rollins, on the other hand, has thrived as a tweener for the last six months, sometimes a hero and other times an antagonist. His latest insinuation that Heyman owes him a favor because he spared the Hall of Famer from a stomp sets up an intriguing possibility for WrestleMania, adding more intrigue to one of the most unpredictable contests on the card.

Rollins is the choice here, with the potential for another unforgettable betrayal.

Prediction: Rollins wins

WrestleMania Sunday Undercard

SmackDown

Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Lyra Valkyria and Bayley vs. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

Valkyria is the reigning women's intercontinental champion and recently successfully defended against Bayley, the same woman she will partner with to challenge Morgan and Rodriguez. The match will be solid at worst, the heels will retain, and it will be interesting to see if we see any more tension between the babyface challengers as a result. (Prediction: Morgan and Rodriguez retain)

Fatal 4-Way Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Bálor

Breakker has been a dominant intercontinental champion, Penta has been a breakout star since arriving in WWE, but the four-way battle is as much about mounting tension within The Judgment Day, and between Bálor and Mysterio, as anything. Breakker likely retains but the spotlight will be on the internal struggle for power within the top Raw faction. (Prediction: Breakker retains)

AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul

No story, no problem! Styles returns to the WrestleMania stage for the ninth time and for the eighth time in singles competition. Again Paul, a celebrity-turned-Superstar with a knack for showing out every chance he gets, The Phenomenal One has the chance to work with an opponent as athletically gifted as he is. As much as it would be nice for Styles to score a big victory in Las Vegas, this feels like a Paul win. (Prediction: Paul)

Sin City Street Fight: Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre

At WrestleMania 40, Drew McIntyre's momentous World Heavyweight Championship victory was spoiled when Damian Priest cashed in Money in the Bank, too advantage of an attack by CM Punk, and won the gold. Since then, The Archer of Infamy has been a thorn in the side of McIntyre, keeping him regaining gold, including at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber earlier this year. After a pair of brawls that left both men lying, the feud will culminate in a Sin City Street Fight that should see McIntyre pick up the win while rebuilding his main event momentum. (Prediction: McIntyre)

Triple Threat Match for the Women's World Championship: Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair

Three of the best wrestlers in WWE women's division history will battle for the Raw brand's women's world title when Sky defends against former champion Ripley and 2025 Elimination Chamber winner Belair. The Eradicator and The EST have a history of defining moments and high-stake victories on the grand stage. A match with real potential to be among the best on the card thanks to known chemistry among the stars and the quality of their performances, it will likely see Belair extend her unbeaten streak at the show to 5-0 by regaining singles championship glory. (Prediction: Belair wins the title)

WrestleMania Sunday Main Event: Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena

4 of 4
Monday Night RAW

One year after finishing his story, winning the WWE title, and ushering in a new era of WWE, The American Nightmare returns to the WrestleMania stage to defend the top prize in the company against John Cena.

The 16-time champion, in the midst of a Farewell Tour that will see him wrap up his in-ring career in December, Cena stunned the wrestling world by turning heel at Elimination Chamber and selling his soul to The Rock.

Now, Cena will look to etch his name in the history books by winning the title and surpassing Ric Flair for world title reigns. To do so, he will have to defeat one of the best big match performers in the industry, something he likely cannot do at this point of his career. By himself, that is.

Cena did not undergo a monumental shift in character in the final year of his career just to lose to Rhodes. Expect an appearance by The Rock, a screwy finish, and Cena standing tall with his history-making 17th world title as WrestleMania goes off the air.

Prediction: Cena wins No. 17
