Stephanie Vaquer Wins Fatal 4-Way to Retain NXT Women's Title at Stand & Deliver

Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia, Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker in a Fatal 4-Way match at NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday to retain the NXT Women's Championship.

The Dark Angel scored the pin on Parker after hitting her with the SVB.

Vaquer made NXT history last month at Roadblock when she beat Giulia in a title vs. title match to win the NXT Women's Championship and retain the Women's North American Championship.

Since she was holding all the women's gold in NXT, she instantly became a target for the rest of the roster, resulting in her defending both titles in the same night on the March 25 episode of NXT.

La Primera retained the NXT women's title against Parker and the North American women's title against Fallon Henley on that show, but it quickly became clear that she would not be able to keep up that pace.

As a result, Vaquer and NXT general manager Ava agreed that she would vacate the Women's North American Championship, resulting in it being put up for grabs in a six-woman ladder match at Stand & Deliver.

Grace threw her hat in the ring as a potential Stand & Deliver challenger for Vaquer and the NXT Women's Championship, but Parker refused to exit the title mix despite her recent loss to Vaquer.

Since Grace and Parker were at odds for weeks, they faced each other in a match on the April 8 edition of NXT, which ended in a no contest.

A brawl broke out between Grace, Parker and Vaquer, who was on commentary, and amid the chaos, Giulia made her surprise return, appearing for the first time since her loss to Vaquer.

The segment ended with Giulia standing tall over Vaquer, hoisting the NXT Women's Championship in the air, and Vaquer's wish to face all three of her rivals at Stand & Deliver was later granted by Ava.

Every challenger was a major threat to put an end to Vaquer's reign, but the Chilean Superstar was up to the task, outlasting three of the top stars NXT has to offer en route to retaining the title.
