MLB Icon Ken Griffey Jr. Working as Photographer for 2025 Masters at Augusta National
Ken Griffey Jr. was accustomed to being under the spotlight during his Hall of Fame baseball career, but he was the one turning the lens on other athletes on Thursday.
Doug Stutsman of Golfweek reported The Kid was a credentialed photographer for the opening round of the Masters Tournament. Part of his assignment while working for Masters.com was taking pictures of the honorary starter ceremony with Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson kicking things off with drives.

The three golf legends starting the Masters with honorary drives has become an annual tradition at Augusta National, and there was a baseball legend there to capture it Thursday.
Chris Cwik of Yahoo Sports noted this is not just a hobby for Griffey. Rather, "he treats it like a job" and has been a credentialed photographer at other events such as NFL games, college football games, the MLB Home Run Derby and an Inter Miami game.
He also does wildlife photography.
It is quite the career turn for one of the defining baseball players of his generation. Griffey's resume included an American League MVP, 13 All-Star selections, 10 Gold Gloves, seven Silver Sluggers and three Home Run Derby crowns.
He led the league in home runs on four different occasions and finished his career with 630 long balls.
Griffey was induced into the Hall of Fame in 2016 and remains an icon in the sport.
Even if he is now photographing other sports.
