Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Sanders tapping the ball before getting into his throwing motion could tip off cornerbacks and safeties regarding when to potentially break on a pass.
While he was picked off 10 times during his 2024 campaign compared to just three interceptions in 2023, he also took on a larger role in the Buffaloes' offense last season.
In 13 games, Sanders completed 74 percent of his passes and led the Big 12 with 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns through the air.
He should hear his name called early when the 2025 NFL draft begins, as he was projected to head to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 2 overall pick in the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
B/R NFL Scout Dame Parson brought up Sanders' time to throw in his scouting report, explaining that it occasionally resulted in big hits.
"However, Sanders takes too many hits because he tries to make a play and holds onto the ball," Parson wrote. "Sanders must improve his anticipation and get the ball out of his hands quicker."
As for Cisco, he signed a one-year contract worth $10 million with the Jets in free agency after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The 25-year-old has eight interceptions in 63 career games.
