He received a score of 39 for the finish.
Ings previously earned a perfect 40 score in the first round, catching a pass off the side of the backboard and throwing it down with his right hand.
His high-flying finishes were especially impressive considering he's two years removed from a torn ACL that ended his 2022-23 campaign.
Ings emerged victorious from a field of participants that also included Albany's DeMarr Langford Jr., Cleveland State's Tevin Smith, East Stroudsburg's Lakeem McAliley, McNeese State's Christian Shumate and Murray State's Kylen Milton.
Milton advanced to the final round to face off against Ings, but he struggled to finish at the rim while the Norfolk State guard cruised to the win.
Fans were impressed with Ings' performance.
While a few players needed multiple attempts to throw down their respective dunks, Ings' didn't take long to complete his powerful finishes around the basket and ended up taking home some hardware.
