Superstars Guaranteed to Lose at WWE WrestleMania 41

Donald WoodApr 2, 2025

The biggest show of the year in professional wrestling is WWE's WrestleMania premium live event, and the 41st edition is shaping up to be one of the best in history.

However, there are several top performers who shined over the last year but are destined to come up short in their respective matches at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19-20.

WrestleMania season has been kind to some WWE Superstars, but others are destined for failure on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Here are the wrestlers guaranteed to lose at WrestleMania 41.

Cody Rhodes

The biggest story on the Road to WrestleMania is John Cena's heel turn and his chase of Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Championship and a record 17th world title.

As popular as The American Nightmare has become, he's taking the loss on Night 2 of The Show of Shows.

Cena's turn on Rhodes and his newfound alliance with The Rock is a story that transcends the WWE Universe, garnering mainstream attention for the company at the most important time of year.

Not only is it imperative that WWE capitalizes on the buzz by giving Cena the Undisputed WWE Championship, but it's also essential to the success of the veteran's final run that he breaks the record he shares with Ric Flair and is vindicated for his rejection of the fans.

Tiffany Stratton

When Tiffany Stratton cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase to become the WWE women's champion, she became one of the most popular performers on the main roster.

In the following weeks, she excelled in the ring and her promo ability seemed to have improved.

However, that success was stunted when Charlotte Flair returned and set her sights on the champion.

In one of her first chances to stand toe-to-toe with a living legend, Stratton sounded outmatched in a war of words and looked overwhelmed by the moment.

On the other hand, The Queen has sounded confident and seems destined to walk out of WrestleMania with the championship.

For the betterment of the 25-year-old's long-term development, she must lose the belt to Flair and rebuild herself as a legitimate contender on the mic.

Eventually, Stratton can get another shot at The Queen and earn the chance to silence the critics.

CM Punk

CM Punk shed a tear when he was told he would main-event one night of WrestleMania, but he is destined to take the loss in Vegas.

After looking like a hypocrite for becoming the man he warned MJF about in All Elite Wrestling, The Best in the World is going to close out Night 1 on April 19.

However, Punk's dream of main-eventing The Show of Shows will be accompanied by a devastating loss.

The man who quit on WWE and the fans in 2014 is scheduled to square off against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat match, and he is the least likely to win, as both of his opponents need the victory more.

While Rollins has become accustomed to taking defeats in marquee matches, the same can't be said for Reigns. Add in the potential conflict of interest for Paul Heyman, and it's crucial Punk takes the loss at WrestleMania.
