Report: UNC's Elliot Cadeau Enters CBB Transfer Portal with 'Do Not Contact' Tag

UNC guard Elliot Cadeau has entered the transfer portal with a "do not contact" tag, per Pete Nakos of On3.

Cadeau, a 6'1", 180-pound sophomore, averaged 9.4 points, 6.2 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game for UNC this season.

The Tar Heels made the NCAA tournament as one of the last four at-large teams in the field and crushed San Diego State 95-68 in the First Four before falling 71-64 to Ole Miss in the first round.

Cadeau isn't the only Tar Heel to enter the transfer portal, as junior forward Jalen Washington has headed there as well, per Nakos.

As for Cadeau, the Link Academy (Missouri) product was a 5-star prospect out of high school, ranked as the 12th overall prospect in the class of 2023, per 247Sports.

Cadeau had 18 offers and visited Texas Tech and Louisville before ultimately choosing UNC, per 247Sports.

It's unclear what schools Cadeau could be targeting in the portal, although Texas Tech and Louisville have since changed coaching staffs since he was recruited.
