Michigan is off to the Sweet 16, and they have an epic second-half run to thank.

The Wolverines, despite trailing by as many as 10 points in the second half, rattled off a 15-2 run to take control of the game and held off Texas A&M from there, winning 91-79 in South Regional action.

Vladislav Goldin (23 points, 12 rebounds) and Roddy Gayle Jr. (26 points) led 5-seed Michigan in the win, while Pharrel Payne paced the 4-seeded Aggies with 26 points off the bench.

The Aggies responded to Michigan's second-half run by cutting the deficit to three points with about a minute-and-a-half remaining, but the Wolverines were able to hold off the late charge and secure the victory.

It was a fantastic game, and fans and pundits on social media enjoyed the show:

Texas A&M was looking to become the second SEC team to reach the Sweet 16 after Arkansas punched their ticket earlier on Saturday with an upset over St. John's. Instead, it was the Big Ten that saw its second berth in the final 16, with Michigan joining Purdue.

Michigan has had its fans on a roller-coaster in March. The team closed out the regular season with three straight losses, only to rattle off three straight wins to win the Big Ten tournament.

It was hard to know which version of the Wolverines would show up for March Madness, though the team is now riding a five-game winning streak.

Life won't get any easier for Michigan from here, however, as it now awaits the winner of 1-seed Auburn vs. 9-seed Creighton.
