Fan fests have long accompanied WrestleMania. It's the biggest show on the WWE calendar, one that draws both diehard followers and casual observers who long ago stopped following pro wrestling on a regular basis.

Starting in 2024, WWE partnered with Fanatics to run WWE World in tandem with "The Showcase of the Immortals." The event includes autograph and photo sessions with current and retired stars along with panel discussions and live shows.

Austin's involvement this year will likely lead some fans to wonder whether it foreshadows an appearance at WrestleMania 41.

WWE reportedly planned to have him show up in last year's main event, with The Undertaker instead coming to the aid of Cody Rhodes against Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. The Texas Rattlesnake has also entertained the idea of having one more match, though he's happy to let his WrestleMania 38 victory over Kevin Owens be his farewell.

Certainly for fans of a certain generation, the opportunity to get Austin's autograph and take a photo with him will enough reason for excitement.
