Report: Darius Slayton, Giants Agree to New 3-Year, $36M Contract amid NFL Free Agency
Wide receiver Darius Slayton is re-signing with the New York Giants on a three-year, $36 million deal, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The 28-year-old recorded 39 receptions for 573 yards and two touchdowns last season across 13 starts.
Slayton was a fifth-round pick in the 2019 draft and has spent all six of his seasons with the Giants, earning nine starts his rookie season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He has not produced as well as he did in his rookie season when he recorded eight touchdowns on 740 yards and 48 receptions, but he did gain his second-most touchdowns in 2023 with four and has remained a steady starter for the Giants with 66 starts to his name
Slayton's re-signing comes just a couple of days after he was projected to get interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers, per Sports Illustrated's Evan Orris.
As a free agent two years ago, Slayton had declined offers from other teams, wanting to remain in New York but had grown frustrated the past year with the Giants' production, per Orris, having finished 3-14.
Last season, Slayton requested a contract extension from the Giants but did not receive one as the team instead amended his contract to include additional incentives, per Orris.
The Giants re-signed backup quarterback Tommy DeVito, but are still searching for their new starting quarterback.
