NFL Insider Links Justin Fields to Titans; Vet or Cam Ward Eyed to Replace Will Levis
Justin Fields is viewed as a potential "stop-gap" option for the Tennessee Titans at quarterback in 2025, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Fowler also reported that the Titans could select Miami passer Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft to replace Will Levis during a Sunday appearance on SportsCenter.
"So, Levis' days could be numbered because certainly they're a strong candidate to take Miami's Cam Ward No. 1 overall," Fowler said. "That's sort of the prevailing theme right now, either trade back or get Ward No. 1. And they'll still look for a veteran. I think stop-gap options for one year like a Jarrett Stidham, Carson Wentz, maybe Justin Fields on a high end. Those are the type of players they'll be looking at."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Veteran quarterback Brandon Allen, who previously spent time with Titans head coach Brian Callahan on the Cincinnati Bengals, was listed by Fowler as well.
Will Levis struggled with Tennessee throughout his 2024 campaign, throwing for 2,091 yards and 13 touchdowns compared to 12 interceptions in 12 appearances. He was benched during a Week 15 loss to the Bengals.
Fields showed promise for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, starting the first six games of the regular season as Russell Wilson dealt with a calf injury.
He helped lead the Steelers to a 4-2 record, completing 65.8 percent of his throws for 1,106 yards and five touchdowns compared to one interception. Fields also rushed for 289 yards and five scores.
The Titans have been linked to Ward throughout the pre-draft process, with NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah revealing on Friday that there's a "legitimate possibility" Tennessee selects the 22-year-old with the top pick in the draft.
As the Titans attempt to improve upon a 3-14 finish in 2024, they could address the quarterback position in both free agency and the draft.
