Video: Cody Rhodes Calls Out John Cena for Heel Turn Before WWE WrestleMania 41 Match

On Friday's SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes spoke for the first time since John Cena's shocking heel turn at last Saturday's Elimination Chamber, which led to a vicious attack at the hands of Cena, The Rock and Travis Scott.

Rhodes had plenty to say, including accusing Cena of giving up, telling him that there was no justification for his actions and showing to the world that he's ready for their WrestleMania 41 title match.

Last Saturday, Rhodes soundly and profanely rejected The Rock's proposal to become his champion.

Cena initially appeared elated and embraced Rhodes, who had his back turned to The Rock.

However, The Rock held all the cards. He gave Cena a throat-slashing gesture, a sign to go ahead with an attack.

The 16-time champion then viciously assaulted Rhodes, starting the beatdown that ended Elimination Chamber and shocked wrestling fans everywhere.

So now the Road to WrestleMania in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20 is red-hot with this feud. Cena, a longtime face who is on his retirement tour, offered no answers at the post-event press conference.

But we do know that Cena is headed to WrestleMania after winning Elimination Chamber. Perhaps we get some clarity along the way, but for now, we clearly know how Rhodes understandably felt after that back-stabbing.
