Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter maintained his status as Kiper's top overall player, and B/R's NFL Scouting Department also ranks him as the No. 1 player in its most recent draft big board. The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner has the ability to dominate both as a wide receiver and a cornerback, and Kiper believes he's the best in the class at both positions.

Surprisingly, Kiper kept Colorado's Shedeur Sanders ahead of Miami's Cam Ward as the No. 1 quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL draft.

By most accounts, Ward separated himself from the pack as the top signal-caller, while Sanders faced detractors who criticized his overt confidence during his interviews. Still, Kiper had a ton of praise for Sanders.

"You won't find a tougher or more resilient quarterback prospect than Sanders, who took 99 sacks over the past two seasons but still put up really strong numbers," Kiper stated. "I'm always impressed watching him throw on the move, rolling either left or right. He is very accurate in those spots and has the arm to drive the ball."

There's still over a month remaining before the 2025 NFL draft begins on April 24, so it will be fun to watch as players try to improve their stock through pro day performances and team visits over the next few weeks.
