Tyreek Hill, Jaxon Smith-Njigba React to DK Metcalf Trade Request: 'Ayooo Wtf'
Other top wide receivers apparently didn't see DK Metcalf's request for a trade from the Seattle Seahawks coming.
Both the Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill seemed surprised by the Wednesday reports.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday that Metcalf, who has one year remaining on his deal with the Seahawks, wants both a new contract and a trade to a contender.
San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir also reacted to the news:
Metcalf is the latest high-profile player to ask for a trade this offseason, following Myles Garrett's decision to share a public request through NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.
Hill's comment on the situation comes after he told reporters in January he was "opening the door" to an exit from the Dolphins, although general manager Chris Grier later said Hill had not requested a trade.
The Metcalf news comes hours after veteran wide receiver Tyler Lockett indicated the Seahawks plan to release him after 10 seasons.
Smith-Njigba already recorded a team-high 137 targets and 1,130 receiving yards during his second NFL season. If both Lockett and Metcalf depart this offseason, he could be set for an even heavier workload in 2025.
He will also lose two veteran players he has previously credited with helping smooth his transition to the NFL in 2023.
The Seahawks "have agreed to explore options" for Metcalf, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
If Seattle does work out a trade for Metcalf, the team's quest to replace him will be complicated by what Pelissero noted is a "weaker class for receiver in both free agency and the draft."
The Seahawks could ultimately decide to use their No. 18 pick of the 2025 NFL Draft to give Smith-Njigba some help by targeting a wideout.
