WWE 2K25: Newest Additions to Universe Mode, MyGM and More Ahead of Release Date

The latest in the popular WWE and 2K Games franchise, WWE 2K25, releases March 14 (March 7 for Bloodline and Deadman Editions) and anticipation for this year's production is at a fever pitch.

Expanded rosters, out-of-ring modes, and upgraded features have fans eagerly anticipating the opportunity to dive into each and experience the game they have waited a year for.

What are some of those enhanced features and what might longtime fans of the WWE video games be in store for? Let's take a look.

Universe Mode

Fans who enjoy the immersive Universe mode and the control it gives them over the world of WWE 2K25 will be even happier to find out that this year's release features the return of promos.

Players will have the chance to select from various new promo types, along with outcomes and branching options, based on the game's official website.

It provides them even more control over their destiny while inserting another element into a mode that has become a staple of the annual release.

MyGM Mode

The MyGM Mode has long been a favorite of fans. In it, gamers can become the general manager of a show, running everything from the production of it through building rentals, lighting, and pyro, to the assembly of their rosters, who gets pushed, and what each Raw, SmackDown, or premium live event broadcast looks like.

What was once a solitaire experience has grown and evolved into an opportunity for worldwide play.

This year, the mode expands to a multiplayer (up to four), online experience that allows friends from around the globe to share the mode. It is an entirely new dynamic that will only allow MyGM to become a more rewarding experience for those gamers who do not wish to settle for the one-player setup that used to define it.

All of the same features that led to its initial popularity remain, just with the ability to see it through with a little help from your friends and/or the online gaming community.

MyRISE Mode

This year's MyRISE Mode features a storyline that involves young stars invading NXT before infiltrating Raw and SmackDown.

Gamers use their created Superstars to choose from three different personalities (bold and brash, comedic and fun, and scheming and calculating) to determine the experience they have. "The personality type you choose not only colors the way your characters act and respond to the world around them, but it affects what stories you have available to you," the game's website reveals.

Throughout the mode, players will have the chance to unlock arenas, movesets, entrances, and more, making it an even more rewarding mode for the most creative and inventive.

Drew McIntyre, Charlotte Flair, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, and Cody Rhodes are only some of the stars that gamers will encounter along the way, as well as multiple endings to keep things fresh and ensure that no one play is ever the same.
