One of the most intriguing new additions to this year's release is The Island, a first-time opportunity for fans to step outside the squared circle and into an "immersive WWE-themed world" complete with different challenges and side quests.
Gamers can compete in live events and improve their MySUPERSTAR, all while advancing to the Head of the Table, where they can join The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.
There are different locations on The Island, including The Temple of Ancestors, Hero HQ, The Arcade of Tomorrow, and The Deadlands. It is in the arcade where fans can even purchase Nike and Jordan brand gear for their Superstars.
The Bloodline is also at the center of this years' Showcase mode, where fans can relive, rewrite, and create history using the icons of the Samoan dynasty from today and yesteryear.
Play as Yokozuna as he finishes Hulkamania for the next decade at the 1993 King of the Ring, control The Usos inside Hell in a Cell as they best The New Day for the tag team titles, or wrestle as Nia Jax as she wins the Queen of the Ring tournament over Lyra Valkyria.
Push Umaga to the WWE Championship by rewriting history as he defeats John Cena at New Year's Revolution 2007, make sure Roman Reigns does not lose his cool as he beats Seth "Freakin" Rollins in the opening contest of the 2022 Royal Rumble, and create history in a first-time ever match-up between The Wild Samoan and Dudley Boyz.

While this year's games sees favorites and all time greats return to the franchise, it also features a handful of exciting new additions to the roster that will allow fans to program them in any match, any time.
Headlining the new faces is "Samoan Werewolf" Jacob Fatu, whose impact on WWE television has been undeniable and whose role in the company should be enormous for the foreseeable future.
Joining him in The Bloodline are Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, who add a sense of danger and unpredictability, especially to the tag team division.
Speaking of the tag team division, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have not officially been announced but are expected to join the fray as downloadable content, as hinted at by the latest DLC teasers.
NXT is heavily represented in terms of fresh faces, with Charlie Dempsey, Eddy Thorpe, Ethan Page, Jaida Parker, Jakara Jackson, Je'Von Evans, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Lexis King, Lola Vice, Oba Femi, Oro Mensah, Sol Ruca, and Tatum Paxley confirmed.
Like The Motor City Machine Guns, Stephanie Vaquer was strongly hinted at in the initial DLC teasers.
