Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
WRs Matthew Golden, Dont'e Thornton Jr. Improve Draft Stock
Texas wide receiver and College Football Playoff star Matthew Golden could be climbing some draft boards after Saturday.
Golden clocked an official time on 4.29 seconds on the 40-yard dash.
That time trails only Xavier Worthy's record-breaking run as the fastest 40-yard dash from the past two combines.
Golden averaged 17.0 yards per catch and tied for the SEC lead with nine receiving touchdowns last season.
That performance, plus the speed he demonstrated Saturday, left some analysts convinced the wideout has secured his spot in the first round this April.
Golden is listed as the No. 3 wide receiver and No. 18 overall prospect on Bleacher Report's 2025 NFL Draft Big Board. B/R NFL scout Dame Parson describes him as "an explosive and dynamic receiver with positional flexibility."
He wasn't the only Texas wideout who shone Saturday. It was a good day overall for Longhorns receivers:
Tennessee wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. later marked an official time of 4.30 seconds.
Thornton, who isn't on the B/R Big Board, measured in at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds before achieving the feat.
Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart Shows Off His Arm
Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart caught attention early Saturday by throwing a maximum speed of 58 miles per hour on the speed test.
Dart, who led the nation with 10.8 yards per pass attempt in 2024, then took to the field for his on-field throwing session.
Dart's accuracy left some viewers sure the Ole Miss quarterback would hear his name called earlier than expected in the upcoming draft:
Dart is ranked as the No. 4 quarterback and No. 75 overall prospect on Bleacher Report's 2025 NFL Draft Big Board. Parson writes that he has shown "shades of Carson Wentz."
Other Notes
Virginia Tech running back Bhayshul Tuten put up some of the best numbers of any running back at the combine.
He hit a top speed of 22.86 miles per hour during his 40-yard dash, per the NFL's Next Gen Stats.
It was a strong running day for running backs in general, according to date from the NFL's Next Gen Stats shared by Jeff Mueller:
Alabama tight end Robbie Ouzts reached 34 inches on the vertical jump, the most recorded by any tight end weighing in at over 270 pounds in 21 years, per NFL+:
Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo meanwhile reached 39.5 inches on his own vertical jump:
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was impressed by his brother Trevor Etienne's 4.43-second unofficial time on the 40-yard dash:
Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers impressed by connecting with some of his former Longhorn teammates during Saturday's throwing session:
Heisman Trophy finalist Dillon Gabriel and reigning national champion Will Howard meanwhile showed off thei deep throws:
Other quarterback prospects took the chance to show off their own passing skills:
Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward didn't work out Saturday, but they were seen talking with Titans quarterback coach Bo Hardigree on the field, per ESPN's Turron Davenport:
The combine continues Sunday as offensive linemen get their time in the spotlight in Indianapolis.
