WWE 2K25: Release Date, Cover and Details for The Bloodline and Deadman Editions

The latest in the hugely popular WWE 2K video game series is nearly here, arriving in time for it to coincide with WrestleMania season.

This year's game features the annual standard edition, with former undisputed WWE universal champion Roman Reigns front and center on the cover.

It also features two special editions, one highlighting The Bloodline and its undeniable effect on professional wrestling in the 2020s and the other celebrating The Undertaker and his three decades of excellence in WWE.

Bloodline Edition

Reigns sits at the head of the table as its undisputed Tribal Chief, but the special Bloodline edition of this year's game highlights the Samoan dynasty throughout WWE history.

The 2K25 Showcase mode is dedicated to The Bloodline, giving players the ability to relive, retell and create history with everyone from The Wild Samoans to those making their first appearance in the franchise, such as Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa.

WWE Hall of Famers Yokozuna and Rikishi are other notable members of the family represented in this year's release, as is fan-favorite Umaga, who will be accompanied by manager Armando Alejandro Estrada.

The Rock tops things off, giving players the opportunity to compete as The Final Boss and compete for the WWE title. No word yet if stealing Cody Rhodes' soul will be part of this year's presentation.

Beyond that, the edition includes the following:

* MyFACTION Persona Card: Mattel Elite Series 114 Jey Uso

* The Island cosmetics (PS5 only) including Family Above All hoodie, OTC shirt, YEET tank top, and YEET sunglasses.

The edition also includes a bundle of exclusives, including The Rock's MyFACTION Nation of Domination card, a Ringside Pass, all of the Deadman Edition perks, and The Wyatt Sicks pack available via preorder.

Deadman Edition

For the second time in franchise history, WWE and 2K celebrate The Undertaker with a special edition release.

This package includes the standard game release, early access, and the Deadman Bonus Pack featuring two MyFACTION cards, a usable urn, and manager Brother Love, among other perks exclusive to PS5 users.

It also includes the season pass, the Wyatt Sicks pack and 15,000 virtual currency.

According to SmackDown Hotel, The Phenom will be represented in two different versions in this year's game. Up first is the standard Undertaker, with the iconic look fans became accustomed to after he returned to his Deadman persona in 2004.

The second represents his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series.

For fans of The Undertaker or hardcore gaming collectors who like to secure the different special editions of the game each year, it is another must-own.
