Ashton Jeanty Won't Work Out at NFL Combine; RB Will Do Drills at Boise State Pro Day
Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty will only participate in medical evaluations and team interviews at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Pelissero noted that Jeanty will go through on-field drills at Boise State's pro day instead.
The 21-year-old is coming off a stellar 2024 campaign with the Broncos, finishing No. 2 in Heisman Trophy voting.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jeanty led the country with 2,601 rush yards on 374 carries, scoring 30 total touchdowns. He was able to stay efficient despite the high volume of attempts, averaging 7.0 yards per carry while repeatedly making defenders miss and fighting through contact.
Jeanty served as the offensive engine of a Boise State squad that won the Mountain West Conference and finished with a 12-2 record, making a College Football Playoff appearance.
He was ranked as the No. 1 running back and No. 9 overall player in the 2025 draft class on the latest big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
B/R NFL Scout Dame Parson highlighted Jeanty's balance and strong frame in his scouting report.
"Between his bowling ball-esque frame and innate contact balance, Jeanty's game translates incredibly well to the NFL," Parson wrote. "He fits today's run offenses with wide zone and pin-pull gap schemes."
Jeanty isn't the only top prospect that won't be working out at the combine in Indianapolis, as Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders will also stick to strictly interviewing with teams and is set to throw at his Pro Day instead (via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport).
