WLWT in Cincinnati provided a video of the bus in flames along the side of the road, and the New York Post showed the aftermath:
Field of 68's Jeff Goodman reported the driver first pulled the bus over due to a mechanical issue, at which point he and others saw a fire in the back portion of the vehicle.
"The team was basically backpedaling and jogging backwards about a mile down the road when the bus blew up," Goodman said. "Players and coaches lost laptops, team gear, personal belongings, most of the suitcases down in the bottom of the bus were completely burned."
IU Indianapolis said a replacement bus arrived to get all personnel back to campus.
The Jaguars, who fell to 9-20 on the season with Sunday's defeat, are back in action Thursday at home against Robert Morris.
