Trish Stratus, Tiffany Stratton Beat Nia Jax, Candice LeRae at WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE women's champion Tiffany Stratton and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus beat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae in a tag team match at Elimination Chamber in Stratus' hometown of Toronto on Saturday.

The ending sequence began when Stratus hit Jax with a Stratusfaction Bulldog off the top rope. She went for the pin, but LeRae broke that up with a springboard moonsault.

However, Stratus moved out of the way at the last minute, and The Poison Pixie landed directly on her teammate.

Stratton took advantage of the situation, landing the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Jax for the victory.

After having not wrestled since September 2023, Stratus made her surprise return to the ring as part of the women's Royal Rumble match on February 1.

Stratus entered the match at No. 25 and eliminated LeRae, but she was tossed out by Jax after lasting more than 13 minutes.

Stratton was formerly close friends with Jax, but all of that changed on the Jan. 3 episode of SmackDown when Tiffany turned on The Irresistible Force by cashing in the Money in the Bank contract and beating her for the WWE women's title.

Jax was intent on winning the title back from Stratton after that happened, and she finally got her rematch on the Feb. 14 edition of SmackDown.

Stratus, who previously announced she would be present for Elimination Chamber in Toronto, was in the front row to watch the match and eventually got involved.

LeRae interfered in the contest, causing a disqualification and leading to her and Jax taking the fight to Stratton in a two-on-one beatdown. Rather than sitting idly by, Stratus made the save and helped Tiffy fight the heels off.

Stratus later offered to be Stratton's tag team partner in a match against Jax and LeRae at Elimination Chamber, and The Center of the Universe accepted.

While Stratton is a first-time champion, Stratus is one of the most-decorated women in WWE history with seven title reigns, making for a highly unique and diverse team.

Despite having never teamed up before, Stratton and Stratus were victorious at Elimination Chamber, giving Tiffy a ton of momentum leading up to her match against women's Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41.
