This week's SmackDown notably has a big six-man tag match on the card featuring Cody Rhodes, Braun Strowman and Damian Priest against Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa.

The Rock's last hyped WWE appearance occurred on Jan. 6, when WWE Raw made its Netflix debut.

On that evening, The Rock kicked off the show to get things going, and he closed it by acknowledging Roman Reigns as The Tribal Chief.

It's unclear what The Rock's role will be Friday, but the hype is obviously building toward WrestleMania 41, which takes place on April 19 and 20 in Las Vegas. Surely, The Rock will have an impact on events leading up to those two nights, and we'll get a glimpse of that Friday during SmackDown.
