Michael Cole Says He Recently Signed WWE Contract Extension for a 'Number of Years'
WWE play-by-play commentator Michael Cole said on the Impaulsive podcast that he's signed a new contract that will keep him with the company for a "number of years."
Cole revealed the news to Logan Paul, a WWE Superstar and former United States champion who will be taking part in the men's Elimination Chamber match on March 1.
Cole has been with WWE since 1997, so based on his comments, he could have a full three-decade run with the company when this deal runs out. He currently serves as Raw's play-by-play commentator but has filled a host of roles over the years, including as vice president of announcing from 2020-2024.
Prior to his time in WWE, the 58-year-old Cole worked for CBS Radio as a news journalist. He is a 1988 graduate of Syracuse University.
