Warriors vs. Cavaliers: Live Score and Highlights for 2015 NBA Finals Game 6

For the first time in 40 years, the Golden State Warriors are NBA champions.

Behind 25 points apiece from Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala, the Warriors topped the Cleveland Cavaliers, 105-97, at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday night to win the 2015 NBA Finals, 4-2.

Iguodala was named Finals MVP for his masterful performance on both ends of the floor.

LeBron James had 32 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists in a losing effort. However, he shot just 13-of-33 from the floor.

Draymond Green posted a triple-double with 16 points, 11 boards and 10 dimes.

The Warriors were in control for most of this game.

After falling behind 7-2 early, Golden State closed out the first quarter on a 26-8 run to take a 28-15 advantage.

The Cavaliers would proceed to battle back in the second quarter, outscoring the Warriors 28-17 to trim the deficit to two, 45-43, heading into halftime.

Cleveland would then score the first four points of the third period to take a 47-45 lead.

That would mark the last time the Cavs would be in front.

The Warriors stormed back, building a 15-point lead. They were dropping three-pointers, playing lockdown defense and forcing turnovers.

The Cavaliers made a run early in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to seven. However, Golden State quickly answered, and the lead ballooned to 15 once again.

A late flurry from J.R. Smith helped Cleveland slice the deficit to four with under 30 seconds to play, but it was too late.

The Warriors shot 44 percent from the floor and buried 13 three-pointers.

By contrast, the Cavaliers shot just 39 percent and went 6-of-26 from deep. Cleveland made nine more free throws than Golden State, but it also committed 19 turnovers to the Warriors' nine.

The Cavs also outrebounded the Dubs 56-39, but it meant little in the end.
