WWE Elimination Chamber 2015: Superstars Who Will Exceed Expectations
This weekend's WWE Elimination Chamber special is bound to feature some great individual performances.
While singles matches of Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose and John Cena vs. Kevin Owens are sure to be crowd-pleasers, it's in the multiperson bouts where we're likely to see some of the best in-ring work.
Here's a look at some under-the-radar WWE Superstars who will exceed expectations heading into the WWE Elimination Chamber at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday and turn in performances we'll talk about the next morning.

Ryback

The Big Guy is heading into the Elimination Chamber with momentum.
Over the last three weeks, Ryback has been on a tear. He more than held his own at WWE Payback against Bray Wyatt and went toe-to-toe with Sheamus the following night. He even bested Stephanie McMahon on the microphone on May 18's episode of Raw, which apparently impressed the chief brand officer, per Wrestling Observer (h/t Randall Ortman on Cageside Seats).
Since returning from injury hiatus, Ryback has shown more charisma. He seems more comfortable on the mic and has caught on with crowds. If he's not officially “back” yet, Sunday night could be the beginning of Ryback's revival.
The Elimination Chamber match suits him in two ways. While his in-ring sets have improved, he's still not the smoothest singles competitor. Having five other wrestlers to work against instead of two will benefit him.
Second, a setting like the chamber enhances his strengths: brute power and sheer force. It keeps the action close, which is how Ryback works best. Although we saw The Human Wrecking Ball land a splash from the top rope at WWE Payback, it's not his forte.
Ryback showed at Payback he can take his game to the next level on a big stage. Look for The Big Guy to not only impress but potentially come away with the title.
Nikki Bella

Since Extreme Rules, Nikki Bella has been little more than a punching bag for Naomi and Tamina Snuka. With Paige now back in the fold for the Divas Championship, now seems like the time for this title to change hands.
Don't count on it.
With Paige—arguably the best female wrestler on the main roster—back in the fold, the other two women in this match will surely pick up their game. On the May 18 episode of Raw, Nikki and Naomi had a more aggressive match. Nikki tossed herself through the ropes for a suicide dive on Naomi, and Snuka is evidence that the Divas are working harder.
Moves like that are only likely to pick up with Paige's return.
And be sure of this: The main roster Divas are noticing what their NXT counterparts are doing. It wouldn't be surprising if all of the women in the Divas division—including its champion, Nikki—pulled out all the stops in an attempt to gain some of their shine back from Sasha Banks and company.
Kalisto

Being the smallest guy in the Elimination Chamber could be considered a disadvantage. The 5'6", 170 pound Kalisto, however, will shine bright in this match.
The Lucha Dragons are the up-and-coming team in WWE and could be featured prominently in this match, even if they don't claim the gold.
Kalisto and Sin Cara bring a different energy to the tag team division. While both are innately gifted performers, it is Kalisto who has captured the attention of the crowds. His highflying spots are something to behold, and the fast pace at which he works is exciting.
While the chamber can be limiting for such performers, there's no reason to think Kalisto won't make the most of this opportunity. Will it be a suicide dive from the top of a pod? Possibly a hurricanrana into the steel?
Kalisto's ability and imagination are limitless, and a match like this could prove immensely entertaining with the luchador hitting on all cylinders.
