WWE NXT: Full Preview, Match Card and More for May 13
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of WWE NXT, where we take a spoiler-free look at what's in store for the developmental brand's upcoming episode.
NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable airs next week, which means this is the last show from the recent block of episodes taped at Full Sail University.
Since this show was filmed several weeks ago, the impression was that Sami Zayn would be wrestling Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship, but that could change now that he's injured.

It's possible management could add a backstage segment to address the matter, as it did with the Uhaa Nation contract signing, but we won't know until Wednesday night.
Let's take a look at what's on tap for this week's episode of NXT.
The Women
This week features a packed card, and three of the bouts scheduled will feature the women of NXT. It's rare to see WWE put three women's matches on a three-hour Raw, let alone an hour-long episode of any show.
Two of the contests will feature brand-new talents who were part of the 11 new signings announced a few weeks ago.
The first match will see Bayley take on a wrestler by the name of Jessie McKay. Unless WWE is planning on pushing this young woman right off the bat, it's safe to assume Bayley will win.
However, we have seen some tension develop between Bayley and Emma in recent weeks, so it's possible that outside interference could lead to an upset victory for the new recruit.
The second bout will feature women's champion Sasha Banks facing Cassie McIntosh, who was also hired last month.
This is essentially the same situation as Bayley vs. McKay. Banks is almost guaranteed to get the win, especially since losing to someone making her debut would hurt the champion's image heading into her title defense next week.
The final match featuring the women of NXT will include two familiar faces. Alexa Bliss will face Carmella in what is sure to be a fun match.
Both of these women debuted within the past year and have shown real promise in different areas. Bliss has amazing athleticism, while Carmella has already proved to be a magnetic personality.
A win for either woman would be beneficial at this point in their respective careers, which is why predicting the outcome is a more difficult than it is with the other two bouts. Either way, this is a chance for these two women to shine.
The Men
Two singles matches are scheduled to take place this week. The first bout will see relative newcomer Solomon Crowe take on the master of the one-minute match, Baron Corbin.
This is an interesting combination. Crowe is still somewhat in the midst of his debut push, and Corbin has been on a rampage for months.
Having Crowe, someone who was brought in with several weeks of hype, lose in less than a minute, like all of Corbin's other opponents, would be a strange booking decision.
WWE likes to keep talents looking strong for several weeks after their initial debuts, but it's possible management has already soured on Crowe.
One possibility is that Rhyno could get involved and cost Corbin the match. The veteran challenged Corbin to a match last week, and costing him a victory against Crowe could be a great way to force him into accepting.
The only other singles match set to take place on Wednesday is Kalisto vs. Tye Dillinger. It shouldn't be hard for people to predict who will win that one.
Kalisto has been exciting fans on the main roster with his signature brand of high-flying offense for the past few months, so going back to NXT and losing to someone who has never had much success wouldn't make sense.
However, NXT and WWE, while connected, are separate entities with their own storylines. If WWE has plans to push Dillinger, it needs to give him wins over established names, and Kalisto would be an excellent opponent to put him over.
The Tag Teams
The main event of the evening will feature some of the best and brightest NXT has to offer squaring off in a tag team match. Finn Balor will team up with Hideo Itami to take on Tyler Breeze and Adam Rose.
Rose was featured in ESPN's E:60 special WWE: Behind the Curtain, and there was a wave of support for the Superstar on social media after everyone saw just how dedicated this man is to the business and to his family.
Being featured in the main event with three of NXT's top stars is certainly a step up from where Rose was being booked a month ago.
Itami and Balor have been allies since their respective debuts, so we already know they can work well together. Breeze and Rose, on the other hand, have not had as much time to find their groove.
This should be an entertaining match regardless of who wins. All four men have different skills they can bring to the table, which usually makes for a fun contest.
With TakeOver: Unstoppable taking place next week, we should have a finalized card after Wednesday's show. The big unknown is Zayn's status, but we will eventually find out if his injury is going to keep him out of action or if it is something he can fight through.
What are you looking forward to on this week's episode of NXT?
