WWE NXT: Full Preview, Match Card and More for May 6
Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of WWE NXT. This is where we take a spoiler-free look at what's in store for the developmental brand's upcoming episode.
We found out during last week's show that the next live special will take place in two weeks, and that means everything that happens between now and then will be building toward that big event.
However, that still leaves two episodes of NXT between now and then. Let's take a look at what's on tap for this week.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The Women
Emma had what could be descried as a horrible run on the main roster, but she was quite popular in the developmental system thanks to her weird dance moves and bubbly personality.
She will return to her old stomping grounds this week to battle former NXT women's champion Charlotte.
Emma seems to be on a strange journey at the moment. The way she has been interacting with Bayley seems to indicate a possible heel turn, but we have yet to see her do anything truly devious.
This could be the week where she finally loses her cool, and Charlotte could be the one who suffers if Emma decides it's time to get more violent.
Despite her goofy demeanor, Emma has shown signs of being someone capable of great things inside the ring. Let's hope a heel turn is the key to unlocking her potential.
Another segment is scheduled for Wednesday's show featuring the women of NXT that will see Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch sign the contract for their women's title match scheduled to take place in two weeks.
Seeing as how these things always end in mayhem, it's safe to assume these two former friends will not leave without throwing a few punches.
The Tag Teams
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder will get some needed screen time this week in a match against the No. 1 contenders for the tag titles, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady.
Dawson and Wilder are two men who have never had much exposure in the developmental system. With a good showing against Amore and Cassady, that could all change.
Dawson is no stranger to the ring. He has been in the business roughly 10 years, performing for several indy promotions before being signed by WWE in 2013.
Wilder has been wrestling just as long as Dawson. Considering both men have more experience than your average rookie, you would think we would have heard more about them by now.
A match against one of the most popular duos in NXT is a great way to make sure fans know who they are, even if they end up losing in the end.
The Men
Rhyno will make another appearance for NXT this week in a match against someone who is just as big and mean as he is, Bull Dempsey.
Dempsey has a unique look and many qualities that will help him in the future, but for one reason or another, he has never been able to gain any traction.
Sure, he is used semi-regularly, but it's mostly as a stepping stone for someone who will move on to bigger and better things.
Going up against a guy like Rhyno could give Dempsey the opportunity to finally gain some momentum. After all, Rhyno is practically a living legend, and if Dempsey could gain a win over him, it would go a long way.
The only other singles match scheduled to take place will see two bitter rivals add another chapter to their story when Tyler Breeze takes on Hideo Itami.
These two have been at each other's throats for a long time, and whenever they step into the ring together, it's hard for anyone else to match their intensity.
It all started back when Itami eliminated Breeze from a tournament to find a No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship. Prince Pretty did not take the loss lightly, and ever since, these two have been engaged in a war.
Finn Balor will join the commentary team for this match, which could be a sign that he will join the program. He has been partners with Itami before, but depending on how things go, he could find himself looking at his friend from across the ring.
Some matches look more appealing that others, but overall, it looks like we are in store for another entertaining episode of NXT. What are you looking forward to on Wednesday's show?
