Reds and Brewers Tie Single-Game Record with 3 Grand Slams
The Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers tied an MLB record during Tuesday's game in Milwaukee by combining for three grand slams, per ESPN Stats & Info.
The feat has only been accomplished on three other occasions, most recently in August 2011, when the Yankees accounted for all three grand slams in a win over the Oakland Athletics.
While the Reds didn't quite manage three grand slams on their own Tuesday night, they did hit five total home runs on the way to a thrilling 16-10 victory.

Cincinnati's grand slams came courtesy of outfielder Jay Bruce and third baseman Todd Frazier, while Milwaukee's came off the bat of second baseman Elian Herrera.
Light-hitting Reds shortstop Zack Cozart surprisingly mustered a pair of home runs in the game, but he wasn't part of the grand slam festivities.
The other players to go deep were Brewers catcher Martin Maldonado and Reds first baseman Joey Votto, bringing the game's total to a whopping seven home runs.
With the exception of center fielder Billy Hamilton and starting pitcher Jason Marquis, every member of the Reds starting lineup recorded at least one RBI.
The Brewers, on the other hand, had just four members of the starting lineup record an RBI, as Herrera and Maldonado drove in seven of the team's 10 runs.
Despite taking a disappointing loss to fall to 2-12 on the season, Milwaukee can perhaps take something positive away from the game, as the Brew Crew's dormant offense finally appears to have some life.
