Nikki Bella vs. Paige Announced for WWE Extreme Rules 2015 PPV

Paige will get another shot at capturing the Divas Championship after winning a Battle Royal during Monday night's edition of WWE Raw.

After being the last Diva standing, Paige will take on current champion Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules, per WWE:

With the Raw broadcast emanating from London, the Norwich, England, native earned a warm reception from the crowd as she entered the ring. NXT Superstar Bayley was happy to see Paige getting so much love:

Nikki has held the title since November, when she beat AJ Lee at Survivor Series. After such a lengthy reign, it might be time for her to drop the Divas Championship. It feels like the Divas division has been stuck in neutral for the past few months, with the same wrestlers feuding with one another, all leading to the same result.

With AJ fully out of the picture following her retirement, this might be the time Paige truly establishes herself as the top Diva. She's held the Divas Championship before, but her two title reigns were somewhat underwhelming. One only needs to watch Paige's work in NXT to see how talented she is.

If Nikki loses at Extreme Rules, it would add another wrinkle to her rivalry with Paige while also freshening up the title picture somewhat.
