Daniel Sturridge Injury: Updates on Liverpool Star's Hip and Return
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge made a shock return to the Reds’ starting XI against Norwich on Sunday, finally putting to bed the hip injury that had prevented him making a single appearance this season.
The England forward had initially "pencilled in the visit of Crystal Palace on Sunday, November 8" for his return, according to the Mirror's Steve Stammers on Aug. 29.
However, that projection was brought forward when he resumed full training on Sept. 10, per Andy Hunter of the Guardian.

Nevertheless, few would have expected him to be rushed straight back into the first team by manager Brendan Rodgers.
Sturridge endured an injury-filled 2014-15 campaign. Rodgers reacted to this in the summer transfer market, signing Christian Benteke and Danny Ings to help Liverpool rack up the goals this season.
However, the Merseyside outfit had scored just three goals in five league games prior to Sturridge's return.
The England man was one of the top strikers in the Premier League during the 2013-14 season, pairing with Luis Suarez to give Rodgers a devastating attack. Liverpool will hope he can now regain such form to kick-start their season.
