World Football: So Apparently It's the "Big Three" Now
So apparently it's the "Big Three" now, the big four are no more, because Arsenal are no longer part of the Premier League's elite teams. Liverpool a team who have yet to win the newly formed Premier League since it was created are apparently a bigger team and threat to win the title than Arsenal. So even though in the last 13 Years Arsenal have won three League titles and Liverpool have none, apparently after one season of pushing Manchester United to the title they are a bigger team and warrant a place in the newly formed "Big Three."
So even though Liverpool essentially did an Arsenal and pushed Chelsea and Man Utd to title they have more chance to win it than we do. May I remind the oblivious that in the 2007-8 Season Arsenal finished third, four Points off United and two Points of Second placed Chelsea and so Liverpool do exactly what Arsenal did except finish on place higher, they were four points off.

So Liverpool and Arsenal have identical seasons, yet when Arsenal finish ahead of Liverpool people didn't suddenly say there was going to be a new "Big Three" even though Arsenal were seven points ahead, no.
See the thing is last season Liverpool literally played out of there skins in every game, like Arsenal did in the 2007-8 Season, Torres, Gerrard, Alonso all on top of their games, like Adebayor, Flamini and Cesc did. But now at Liverpool there is an Alonso-shaped-hole in their team, he was the carrier from defence to Gerrard, now he's gone like Flamini did for us Liverpool may well finish fourth like we did last season.
The point of this article is just to point out that you shouldn't make assumptions from one season it don't mean that much, Everton in 2004-5 season finished 4th, Bolton consistently were in the top eight, Middlesbrough won the league cup, made it to the UEFA Cup Final, Hull were in the top four for a while, nothings set in stone so before the pundits and newspapers start saying stuff like 'Big Three' maybe they take a moment and look over all the information at their disposal.
