
Alvin Robertson Arrested: Latest Details Surrounding Former NBA Star
Former NBA guard Alvin Robertson has been arrested and placed on $150,000 bond after violating terms of his probation related to an ongoing child sex trafficking case.
According to Michelle Casady of the San Antonio Express-News, Robertson has 10 probation violations on his record, including a failed drug test for methamphetamine.
The former All-Star was initially arrested on a sex-trafficking charge related to a 14-year-old girl in 2010. Police allege Robertson and co-conspirators kidnapped the underage girl, forced her into prostitution and had her dance at a strip club. He has also been arrested on a number of other occasions for allegations of violent and sexually-related crimes.

Robertson's case on the sex-trafficking charge is currently pending. The seventh overall pick in the 1984 NBA draft, Robertson played 10 NBA seasons, most of which with the San Antonio Spurs and Milwaukee Bucks. He also played for the Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors, finishing with career averages of 15.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists.
Robertson made four All-Star teams and was the league's Defensive Player of the Year in 1986. He is currently jailed waiting a hearing Friday morning.
