Marcus Foster Dismissed by Kansas State: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
Marcus Foster has been one of Kansas State’s best scorers during the first two years of his college career, but that will no longer be the case moving forward.
The program and head coach Bruce Weber dismissed the scoring guard from the roster Tuesday, as K-State Athletics confirmed.
Weber also offered the following quote, per Kellis Robinett of The Wichita Eagle and The Kansas City Star:

As noted, freshman Tre Harris was also dismissed from the program.
Foster averaged 15.5 points per game as a freshman and 12.5 points per game this season as a sophomore and helped space the floor for the Wildcats attack with his three-point shooting prowess and ability to get to the lane off the dribble. His absence will certainly be felt in 2015-16 for a team that will be looking to get back to the NCAA tournament after missing out this season.
Foster was a primary cog in the offensive machine for much of the season, but he only played 19 minutes and went scoreless in Kansas State’s Big 12 tournament loss to TCU.
