
Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction
Eric Bledsoe scored 20 points, Markieff Morris added 19 points and 13 rebounds and the Phoenix Suns recovered after blowing a 17-point lead to beat the Dallas Mavericks, 98-92, at US Airways Center Sunday night for their fourth straight win.
The Suns got off to a red-hot start in this one, scoring 33 points in the first quarter. P.J. Tucker buried three three-pointers and had 13 points in that first period, and at halftime, Phoenix was shooting 56 percent and led the Mavericks, 57-42.
The Suns would lead by as many as 17 during the third quarter, but the Mavs stormed back.

Dallas went on a 23-7 run to close the period and entered the fourth trailing 76-75. The Mavericks would continue their assault at the start of the final frame, accumulating a 34-11 run between the third and fourth quarters overall. Dallas took a six-point lead and had all of the momentum in its favor.
Then, the Mavericks went ice cold down the stretch.
Monta Ellis in particular was brutal, going 0-of-8 from the floor in the last 12 minutes. As a team, Dallas ended up scoring only 17 points in the fourth quarter after dropping 33 during the third period.
With the score tied at 88 with two minutes to go, Suns guard Archie Goodwin drained a three-pointer from the left wing to put Phoenix up 91-88. The Suns would proceed to hold on to the lead for the rest of the game, with Markieff Morris dropping a dagger fallaway jumper to give his team a 94-89 edge with 29.1 seconds remaining.
Phoenix shot 51 percent from the field and held Dallas to 39 percent shooting. Both teams hit on only 29 percent of their three-point shots.
Ellis went only 4-of-22 from the floor overall.
The Mavericks will now head home to host the red-hot San Antonio Spurs Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Meanwhile, the Suns will look to continue their playoff push when they host the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET. Phoenix is three games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder in the loss column for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
