Top Value Players
G Ralston Turner, N.C. State ($6,000)
The NCAA loves storylines, and there is certainly an intriguing one for Ralston Turner. Now a senior with N.C. State, Turner originally started his college tenure with LSU. Ironically enough, he'll be playing—you guessed it—the Tigers in the second round of the tournament.
Turner downplayed the matchup earlier this week, but there's some extra motivation to light up his former team. With 22 or more fantasy points in five of his last seven games, Turner is certainly worth his value of $6,000.
LSU ranks 209th this season in points allowed (67.7), meaning Turner and teammates Anthony "Cat" Barber and Trevor Lacey should produce. Turner is worth considerably less than either guard, making him a quality No. 2 option.
G Naz Long, Iowa State ($5,000)

Similar to Turner, Naz Long is often forgotten in the high-powered Iowa State offense. But with his consistent scoring and rebounding ability, Long is still a solid addition as either a third guard or even a utility player.
On the season, Long has averaged over 10 points and nearly three rebounds per game. In a matchup where Iowa State should easily pull away, expect Long to still contribute late after averaging 27.3 minutes per game.
With some of his best games coming out of conference play, expect Long to fill up the stat sheet even at just a $5,000 hit in lineups.
F A.J. Hammons, Purdue ($6,100)

Late in the season, there have been very few big men in the country as effective as A.J. Hammons. The Purdue center has been solid all year, but he has three double-doubles in the last two months and has reached 30 fantasy points twice in March.
Boilermakers coach Matt Painter offered his take on the 7'0" forward's play, via Lance McAlister of ESPN 1530:
Frank Kaminsky, of course, would cost daily fantasy players a much higher price. Hammons has touched on a double-double in every game this March, eclipsing the mark in the final regular-season game. He will do just that against Cincinnati, which doesn't have a player over 6'10" and ranks 209th in the country in rebounding.
F Zach Auguste, Notre Dame ($5,600)

Notre Dame's run to the ACC tournament title wouldn't have been possible without standout games from Zach Auguste. The forward put up 19 points in the regular-season finale and posted a double-double in the championship game against North Carolina.
Not only does Auguste provide great fantasy points through scoring and rebounding, but he's also averaged two steals over the last four games. Producing in myriad ways for his owners, Auguste will shine against Northeastern, a No. 14 seed in the tourney.
F/UTIL Dakari Johnson, Kentucky ($3,800)

This one is kind of a gutsy call, but just trust the intuition here. Dakari Johnson hasn't been especially productive recently, with less than 10 fantasy points in his last seven games.
However, he faces a Hampton team that will likely fall behind early. Despite his recent production, Johnson will be depended on late to produce for the Wildcats. Look for the sophomore to outproduce his low salary and haul in several rebounds late in the game.
