Brock Lesnar Will Carry Roman Reigns
After beating The Undertaker, John Cena and Triple H like few other men have in the history of the wrestling business, Brock Lesnar has proved he is one of the greatest champions in wrestling history despite his limited dates.
Now, Lesnar will be given the responsibility of carrying Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 31.
Regardless of whether Lesnar re-signs with the WWE, his job at the biggest PPV of the year will be helping Reigns look like a viable challenger. Using Lesnar’s experience and talent, the two men must put on a bout worthy of the main event slot.
One of Lesnar’s most underrated strengths is his ability to tell a convincing story in the ring, and that will come in handy against the inexperienced Reigns. With the champion dictating the pace of this match, the lowered expectations could result in the WWE Universe being pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
Bray Wyatt Holds His Own Against The Undertaker
A vocal portion of the wrestling fanbase continues to complain about the in-ring work of Bray Wyatt, but the 27-year-old will prove the doubters wrong and help The Undertaker put on an unforgettable performance.
When the match takes place, The Undertaker will be 50 years old. There is no doubt he has slowed in the ring, but his experience and storytelling ability are second to none. If Wyatt enters this match looking to leave it all on the mat and give The Undertaker a worthy opponent, the two men will look like equals.
Being talked about in the same breath as The Undertaker would be a major rub for Wyatt, but the charismatic character will look incredible moving forward if he stands toe-to-toe with The Deadman and the fans perceive him as equal in the ring.
Wyatt needs the best performance of his career, and he will step up on the WrestleMania stage.
The IC Title Ladder Match Will Steal the Show
While the Intercontinental Championship means almost nothing to the WWE or its fans, the Ladder match for the title at WrestleMania 31 is the early favorite to steal the show in terms of in-ring entertainment.
With top stars Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose all worthy of marquee singles matches at the PPV, the fact that they are fighting in the same bout adds intrigue and anticipation.
This may not be the best usage of the top talent in the company, but the resulting effort from each man in a brutal match should make this a memorable WrestleMania moment.
Add a supporting cast featuring R-Truth, Luke Harper, Bad News Barrett and Stardust, and there will be something in this bout for every member of the WWE Universe. Expect a few preplanned spots that will be jaw-dropping.
