Hardaway Returns to Lineup After Missing Multiple Games

Friday, April 3

Marc Berman of the New York Post reported that Hardaway will return to the lineup Friday vs. the Washington Wizards.

The Knicks revealed on March 19 that he is day-to-day and, according to Derek Fisher, Hardaway's timeline to return was a little longer than fellow injured Knick Cleanthony Early.

Hardaway was averaging 11.4 points a game and led the team with 1.7 made three-pointers a night before the injury. The 22-year-old has at least established himself as a solid role player for the franchise as it continues its rebuild.

The Knicks don't have much to play for at this point beyond pride and lottery position, but having the promising Hardaway back on the floor is an encouraging sign for next season and beyond.
