Jazz PR announced that Hayward did not participate in the team's morning practice, per Aaron Falk of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Hayward Out vs. Minnesota with Shoulder Injury

Monday, March 23

The Jazz announced that Hayward would not play against the Timberwolves with a Grade 1 left AC sprain. 

Hayward was battling a knee injury last season and also missed a game earlier this season with a lower-back strain, but he's otherwise had a rather clean bill of health.   

The young, versatile swingman is a franchise cornerstone in Utah and will be there for the foreseeable future as the Jazz's young nucleus tries to climb upward in a stacked Western Conference hierarchy.
