Tyler BrookeMar 13, 2015

Update from Sunday, March 15

According to Ryan Fagan of Sporting News, Scott Park—the contestant in the Vine—suffers from a rare blood disorder called Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome (CAPS).

Park has been on dialysis in the past and even needed a kidney transplant as a result of his condition. He became the first person to ever get a transplant with CAPS.

Every other Friday, Park receives treatment for his condition. However, on this Friday, doctors allowed the ACC basketball fan to push back his treatment in order to attend the conference tournament.

Either the pressure got to this guy, or he's never shot a basketball in his life.

One lucky fan had the chance to win $1 million on Friday night at the ACC tournament. During halftime between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Duke Blue Devils, the fan got one attempt at a half-court shot.

The shot attempt didn't come anywhere close, landing around the free-throw line. Before the ball even touched the court, the fan was greeted with plenty of groans and boos.
