Outside of Penn State's run to the quarterfinals, the Big Ten tournament has gone mostly by the script. That trend continued on Friday with all of the top four seeds making their way to the semifinals.
Now it's down to the programs that have fought all season to earn the right to be here. Wisconsin, Maryland, Michigan State and Purdue are all rested and looking to reach the finals.
Before analyzing the Wisconsin-Purdue matchup, here's a look at the full schedule and predictions for the Big Ten semifinals.

Game to Watch: Wisconsin vs. Purdue
Well, hello, opportunity.
A day after Virginia lost in the ACC semifinals against North Carolina, Wisconsin now has a chance to secure a potential No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. That decision will be out of the Badgers' hands, but dominating this weekend will certainly make the decision a tough one.
Sam Vecenie of CBS Sports offered his take on the situation:
"Still think UVA ends up as a No. 1. Resume is stronger than Wisconsin’s and Arizona’s.

The Badgers pack plenty of punch with one of the most versatile offenses in the country. Sam Dekker and Nigel Hayes can shoot from anywhere on the court and average over 12.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
However, the real superstar for Wisconsin is Frank Kaminsky. The truest definition of a stretch 4, Kaminsky is the most dominant player in the country. Averaging 18.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 41 percent from three-point range and accumulating 48 blocks this season, there isn't an area where Kaminsky doesn't shine.
ESPN College Basketball points out how well he played in the quarterfinals:

Purdue will look to answer with A.J. Hammons. The 7'0" center was coming off the bench for the Boilermakers the last time they played Wisconsin. Since that point, he's emerged as the best player for Purdue and a true defensive star.
Over his last four games, Hammons is averaging 15.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. If he's responsible for Kaminsky in the paint, his size advantage might limit the Badgers offense.
Even with the impact that Hammons will likely provide and Raphael Davis shooting from behind the arc, Wisconsin will be too much for Purdue. With a No. 1 seed seemingly back on the table for the Badgers, the next two games will be as crucial as any this season.
