Not only does Myers give West Virginia another position in that 2015 group, but he provides some experience since he comes from the junior college level.
According to Steve Jones of The Courier-Journal, Myers averaged 25 points per game on the season at Williston State College in North Dakota. That type of scoring punch, especially from the wing where Myers can hit from three-point range or attack the basket off the dribble, will be critical for the Mountaineers in next season’s offense.
He is also a lights-out shooter from the free-throw line and could come through in the closing moments of tight games for West Virginia.
The Mountaineers will be pleased to add an experienced and talented player on the wing to their 2015 class.
