WWE 2K15 DLC: NXT Arrival Details, Trailer and More
The downloadable content for WWE 2K15 just keeps coming. On Tuesday, the much-anticipated NXT Arrival pack was released. The new roster addition doesn't come with a storyline like the 2K Showcase add-ons, but it "welcomes you to the wasteland" courtesy of the former NXT tag team champions, The Ascension.
Former WWE champion, current Monday Night Raw announcer and former NXT general manager JBL is also included, as is Emma and Adam Rose. Take a look at the release trailer:

The NXT DLC is not available for free to gamers who subscribe to the 2K Showcase Season Pass. The four new WWE Superstars and Diva have to be purchased for $6.99. There is, however, one last addition to the 2K Showcase mode still on the way.
The Path of the Warrior storyline that highlights the biggest moments in the late Ultimate Warrior's career is still forthcoming.
As for the newest addition to the WWE 2K15 roster, there are some highlights, and it begins with the most dominant tag team in NXT's short history. Hopefully, The Ascension's inclusion in the video game can get them over a bit more with the WWE Universe.
Up to now, their big splash has been more like bubbles in the bathtub. Konnor and Viktor looked to be on the road to becoming one of the more successful tag teams in the WWE, but they have struggled to make an impression on the big show's fanbase.
At least they look cool in the game.
It's great to have JBL in. If you're like me, you've been yearning to slap a Clothesline From Hell on someone since the game released. Sure, I could create a guy and give the move to him, but it's just not the same unless the big Texan performs it.

In case you're wondering whether Adam Rose has the Rosebuds with him when he comes to the ring, you can quickly see in the video below that he does.
The Bunny doesn't have a bigger role than any of the other members of Rose's entourage.
That's a bummer. I was also kind of disappointed that Justin Gabriel was never officially revealed as the Bunny on WWE TV after the speculation that he was underneath the suit from Wrestlezone. He and Rose might have had a solid midcard feud.
Lastly, there's Emma. Raise your hand if you think she'll be the least played with addition in this pack.
It seems the quirky Diva really needed Santino Marella to help introduce her to the WWE Universe. Once the lovable and comedic Superstar stepped away from the ring because of a neck injury, the glimmer of interest in Emma seemed to fade.
Santino and Emma's building relationship seemed set to be the WWE's best source of laughs, but The Milan Miracle got hurt, and things haven't worked out for Emma since. At least she's in the game.
